1. Open up file explorer, which is at the bottom of the screen (file icon).
2. At the top, click on the button "View". You should be able to see that button "Preview Pane" on the left side. Click on that and you should now be able to see a preview of a file when selected.
3. Another option to enable Preview Pane is to use Alt-P when on file explorer.
